Mixed Nut Butter

I just made the most delicious mixed nut butter.
It’s easy: I took two cups of my mixed crushed nuts, and added them to the blender with enough vegetable oil to keep the blender running. I blended until smooth. The flavor is so fresh and nutty!
Aside from the obvious uses for it (anything and everything I’d put peanut butter on), I plan to try it in recipes as a cream substitute. It’s thick and fatty, and has a lot more flavor than cream does. I’ll post results once they’re in.
