Brave potatoes

I think I’ll go for the roasted lamb with brave potatoes. The character of my side dishes has always been important to me.
It always amuses me when the menu people just go for the most literal translation. Couldn’t they have gone for a more descriptive translation, and just said “spicy potatoes”?
