October (Northern hemisphere)/April (Southern hemisphere): Think roots and squash

I’m going to update this list every month with the list of fruits and veggies that appear as seasonable on the new organic farm website that I ordered from. What’s actually available here appears in bold below.

Unfortunately, my seasons down here are backwards from what everyone’s experiencing in the Northern hemisphere, but there’s not much I can do about that, so once I’ve got the year covered, I’ll re-publish with the full, expanded list.

Fruit: apples, cranberries, figs, grapes, grapefruit, lemon, mandarin oranges, pears, plums, pomegranate, quince

Veggies: arugula, basil, beans, beets, bell peppers (green), broccoli, carrots, chives, cucumbers, garlic, lettuce, mushrooms, onions, potatoes, pumpkins, radicchio, snow peas, spinach, spring onion, squash, sweet potatoes, turnips, winter squash
