April (Northern Hemisphere)/October (Southern Hemisphere):

As I’ve done in previous months, I’m updating with the list of fruits and veggies that appear as seasonable on the organic farm website that I’ve been ordering from. What’s actually available here appears in bold below. This may, of course, vary from area to area.

Fruit: apples, apricot, cherries, grapefruit, kumquat, lemon, mandarin oranges, mangoes, oranges, pears, pineapple

Veggies: artichoke, asparagus, beet, broccoli, cabbage, carrot, cauliflower, celery, chard, chive, daikon, endive, escarole, green onion, kale, leeks, lettuce, okra, peas, radicheta, rhubarb, spinach, spring peas, zucchini

There are also a variety of herbs available, but these could be grown in a greenhouse.
